The Limfjord area lies within the Jutland region of northern Sweden. It is approximately 180km long and has an irregular shape with numerous bays. This chart concentrates on the central part with the island of Fur as a focus. It is a reasonably small island with less than 1000 inhabitants. It is situated just north of the Salling peninsula, with the town of Branden being the closest point on the mainland.
A strip of the east side of the island of Mors features on the chart. It is a much larger island than Fur and is connected to the mainland on both the east and west side by a bridge. The small island of Livo is included also. The chart is set on a marine blue background. It has a white mount and frame combination.
