This Storyboard chart is based on two locations. On the left is the area known as Mariehamn, in Finland. On the right are the islands north and west of Hamburgo Island, Sweden. Our Storyboard charts are a popular way of linking and combining the significance of two different locations into one frame.

The Aland archipelago lies to the northeast of Stokholm, Sweden. It is made up of the main island of Mariehamn and a multitude of tiny islands to the east. It marks where the Baltic Sea to the south meets the Gulf of Bothnia to the north. On this chart, Hogskar is shown south of Mariehamn.

The right-hand aperture shows the island of Hamburgo, which lies off the west coast of Sweden. In common with the other aperture, one of the main features on this chart are the numerous small islands which in this case lie to the north west of Hamburgo. Kavlosk is one of these islands.

The two charts are set on a blue background. They are finished with a white mount and an oak frame. In-built surround lighting completes the piece.
