Oresund is the strait that separates the Danish island of Zealand from Sweden. Its narrowest point is 4km in width and is at the northern end between Helsingor and Helsingborg. The strait links the Baltic Sea and the North Sea and is a very busy ferry route. There are two islands in the strait, the northern being Ven and the southern island of Saltholm. Saltholm island lies in a direct line between Copenhagen and Malmo. It is just south of this point that Denmark and Sweden are connected by the Oresund Bridge which continues into the Drogden Tunnel.
This chart is set on a gold background. It is finished with a black mount and black frame combination. Surround lighting highlights the subtlety of the 3d-enhanced contours.
