This chart belongs to our Origins range. This chart features Anglesey, North Wales and Holy Island.

It is named “Holy” because of the high concentration of standing stones, burial chambers and other religious sites on the small island. The western side of the island is taken up mainly by Holyhead Mountain. The main settlement is the port of Holyhead, from which passenger ferries travel to Dun Laoghaire and Dublin.

This chart also includes Caernarfon Bay, Penrhos Bay, South Stack, North Stack, The skerries and Lavan sands.
