This chart focusses on the LLyn peninsula just south of Caernarfon and includes the northern section of Cardigan Bay in North Wales. The small island of Bardsey can be seen lying off the west coast of the peninsula. The sweep of the bay follows clockwise past several long stretches of beaches as far south as Barmouth. It is a substantial chart, measuring a metre wide. The topographical display of this classic black and white chart gives a visual impression of the terrain in the area. The Llyn Peninsula lies south-west of the island of Anglesey and it extends 50km into the Irish Sea.
The in-built surround lighting on this piece accentuates the beautiful coastal detail and enhances the 3D relief work. When illuminated in a dimly lit room it looks spectacular. The chart is set on a golden background and it has a grey mount and a black frame.
