The detail of this chart is immensely intricate due to the complicated coastline of the area and the numerous islands. The 3d craftwork undertaken to create a piece like this is painstakingly slow. The finished piece, however, is more than worth the many hours spent and we hope it will be admired for many years. Connemara is renowned worldwide for its beauty. The area covered by this chart lies to the north of the Aran Islands. There are three larger islands shown, Lettermullen, Gorumna and Lettermore. Lettermullen is the westernmost of the three islands. These islands along with the neighbouring smaller islands are collectively known as Ceantar na nOilean. They are connected to the mainland by a series of bridges and causeways.

The main villages visible on this 3d chart are Kilkieran, Inver, Bealadangan, Carraroe and Rossaveel. The chart’s title reads Cashla Bay to Kilkieran Bay. It is a large piece, measuring 1100x900mm. It is set on a blue background and is complemented by surround lighting which highlights the 3d work beautifully. A white mount and frame finishes the piece.
