Clogher head is a fishing village, It is located in a natural bay on the East Coast it is bordered by the villages of Annagassan to the north and Termonfeckin to the south. It is in the townlands of Clogher and Callystown, about 12 km northeast of Drogheda.
Carlingford Lough is a glacial fjord that forms part of the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic. On its northern shore is Co. Down and on its southern shore is Co. Louth. At its extreme interior angle it is fed by the Newry River. The area has been a popular tourist destination since Victorian times. The main towns of note on the Lough are Omeath, Carlingford and Greenore on the south shore, Warrenpoint, Rostrevor and Killowen can be seen on the north shore. Kilkeel is a small town in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is the southernmost town in Northern Ireland.
