The Greek islands are famous both geographically and in tourism, and this chart incorporates most of them. At the bottom left is Crete which is the biggest of Greece’s islands. Its mountainous terrain is clearly represented. Moving east, the Kaso Strait separates the neighbouring islands of Kaso and Scarpanto. Further east is the island of Rhodes. In the bottom right hand corner there are two scaled-up inserts incorporated, one of Marmarice Harbour and the other of Makri Harbour. The other main islands included are: Stampalia, Santorini, Naxos, and Ios.
This chart looks wonderful when illuminated at night time as the islands are highlighted to great effect. The chart sits on a golden background and a grey mount and black frame were selected to complete this piece.
