Hong Kong, with its diverse history is one of the richest and most highly developed places in the world. This attractive chart features Hong Kong island together with its neighbouring smaller islands. Geographically, Hong Kong has an outstanding deepwater harbour, Victoria Harbour, situated between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon to the north. Most of the land is highlands. Tall mountains rise from the sea and create a landscape of dramatic vistas. Steep terrain means that half the population lives in about 10 per cent of the regions’s land area, with the result that Hong Kong has some of the world’s tallest buildings as there is no place to expand but upwards.

The surrounding islands shown on this chart include: Lamma Island, Ap Lei Chau, Po Toi, Shung Sze Mun, Tung Lung Chau. To the south lies the South China Sea.

This chart is set on a marine blue background. It features surround lighting and has a cream mount and white frame.
