The rugged coastlines of the Hebrides are a perfect match for the intricate work that Latitude Kinsale is renowned for. We receive many commissions for this part of Scotland, and for good reason. It is an absolutely beautiful part of the world. We chose an archive black and white chart for this piece. The main islands featured are Islay, Jura and Colonsay. Also included are the northern part of the Isle of Arran, the southern part of Isle of Mull and most of Kintyre.

Jura is an island in the Inner Hebrides, adjacent to Islay. Compared with its fertile and more populous neighbour, Jura is mountainous, bare and is covered by vast areas of blanket bog.

Islay is known as “The Queen of the Hebrides”. The island’s capital is Bowmore and Port Ellen is the main port. The east coast is rugged and mountainous, rising steeply from the Sound of Islay. The western peninsulas are separated from the main bulk of the island by the waters of Loch Indaal to the south and Loch Gruinart to the north.

The chart is set on a carbon fibre background and is finished with a brushed silver frame and a white mount. Surround lighting makes all the detailed features stand out. A stunning piece for a stunning location.
