This chart features the north-eastern end of Lake Ontario, Canada. The U.S. / Canadian border runs diagonally through the chart. On the northern (Canadian) side Wolfe Island predominates. It is surrounded by several smaller islands, namely; Simcoe Island, Horseshoe Island and Garden Island. This tourist region is known as The Thousand Islands. In fact there are far more than a thousand islands in number but some of them are very tiny. One of the criteria for counting as one of the Thousand Islands is that an island must have at least two living trees. The lakeside city of Kingston sits on the northern limit of the chart. Kingston lies at the mouth of the Cataraqui and St. Lawrence rivers. On the U.S. side, Carleton Island, Grenadier Island and Fox Island are shown along with a section of mainland upstate New York.

The chart sits on a blue background and has a white mount and frame combination. It is one of several 3d charts we have created for the lakes of North America and Canada.
