Cyprus is the third largest of the Mediterranean islands after Sicily and Sardinia. This chart features the southern part of the island between Limassol and Larnaca. The Akrotiri Peninsula separates Akrotiri Bay and Episkopi Bay. The city of Limassol lies adjacent to Akrotiri. Salt Lake can be seen on the chart in this area and is the largest inland body of water on the island.

Although the chart title is Larnaca to Limassol Bay, the chart’s eastern limit is in fact a little further east of Larnaca and includes the Cape Greco Peninsula. To the west of the city of Larnaca is Larnaca Salt Lake which is in fact a network of 4 salt lakes. The compass rose edges off the chart south of Larnaca in what is an attractive artistic feature of this chart.
