Tuapse Black Sea, Russia

These 2 lovely charts features Tuapse harbour (Left) and the coastline of Tuapse (Right) from Mys Gryaznova to approaching to Sochi.

Tuapse, city and seaport of Krasnodar kray (territory), southwestern Russia. It lies on a sheltered bay of the Black Sea. Founded in 1838 around a fortress established in 1828, it grew in the 20th century as a major ship-repairing, oil-refining, and oil-export centre. It is linked by pipeline to Grozny and the north Caucasian oil fields.

Bridges and piers are difficult structures to execute in 3D. Extreme care and a steady hand is required. Thankfully the finished result was a very attractive 3D chart. The chart has a fresh nautical look. It is set on a black background and is finished with a charcoal mount and a black frame.
