This piece features Alicante Port on the Mediterranean coast. This chart was presented to the Mayor of Alicante by the Volvo Ocean Race team. The Bay of Alicante is unusual, it is relatively shallow compared with the rest of the Mediterranean which is typically very deep. This was made using the Admiralty chart 473 “Approaches to Alicante”.
