This chart features a beautiful part of the west of Ireland. It covers Achill Island to Clifden, Co. Galway. The main focus is Achill Island which is the largest island off the coast of Ireland and is attached to the mainland by a bridge.
Also included are the smaller islands of Inishturk, Inishbofin and Clare Island. Clare island is a mountainous island that guards the entrance to Clew Bay. It is famous as the home of the pirate queen, Gráinne O’Malley. Achillbeg Island lies close to the entrance to the Sound. The Michael Davitt Bridge between the villages of Gob an Choire and Poll Raithní is featured.
