Kenmare Bay or (Kenmare River as it is titled on this chart and sometimes known as) is an abundantly scenic part of Co. Kerry. It separates the Iveragh Peninsula and the Beara Peninsula, with Kenmare town located at the head of the Bay. Kenmare town is seen on this chart on the extreme right.
Kenmare lies on two noted Irish tourist routes, the Ring of Kerry and the Ring of Beara, approximately 32 km from Killarney. As a result, it is a popular tourist destination and many of the businesses in the area cater to tourists.
Key locations on this chart are; Sneem and Parknasilla on the Iveragh Peninsula, and Ardgroom and Lauragh on the Beara Peninsula.
