Castlecove is a village in County Kerry, Ireland, it is located on the Iveragh peninsula on the Ring of Kerry. A beautiful sheltered and sandy beach with breathtaking views. This beach is remarkable for the amazing turquoise colour of the water and it’s white sand.

Skellig Michael, also called Great Skellig is a twin-pinnacled crag 11.6 km west of the Iveragh Peninsula. On the summit of St Fionan’s monastery, one of the earliest foundations in the country. The monks who lived there prayed and slept in beehive-shaped huts made of stone, many of which remain to this day. The Skellig Michael is one of only two UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the Republic of Ireland. The island was used as a filming location in Star Wars.

The village of Derrynane is situated on the shores of Derrynane Bay near Caherdaniel. It is known for Derrynane House which was the ancestral home of Daniel O’Connell.

Balllinskelligs Bay is a horseshoe shaped bay on the Wild Atlantic Way in Co. Kerry. It is displayed beautifully on this colour chart.

Off-shore can be seen several small islands including Deenish Island, Scariff Island and Abbey Island. They are all uninhabited islands in the Atlantic Ocean. Abbey Island can be reached on foot through a beach and is home to the 6th century ruins of Derrynane Abbey. The chart also includes Cod’s Head on the bottom right corner.
